My name is Diana Ritter. All my life I’ve loved music and art which I have truly enjoyed as my creative outlets. My career as an Engineer, however took me on a more technical path. My art created with floppy disks reflects the paradox between my two worlds of technology and art.

I enjoy making creations out of floppy disks because it almost seems that I am bringing something back to life that was once dead and giving them a “second life”. The idea popped into my head after stumbling across a large box of floppy disks that I forgot I had. Since throwing them away was not an option, my idea took a life of its own and Disk Art was born.

My work is currently displayed at Main Avenue Galleria in Ocean Grove, NJ and in Sea & Green Boutique in Point Pleasant, NJ.
